Orlando Gay Days. Orlando Florida’s Gay Days Celebration is an unforgettable gay and lesbian vacation experience, comprised of multiple events staged at world-famous attractions, gay and lesbian clubs, and unique venues - creating a secure gay and lesbian atmosphere at Orlando's greatest theme parks and at multiple parties during this festive weekend. Gay Days began in 1991 as Gay Day in the Magic Kingdom, a designated day in June when the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered community is encouraged to "Wear Red and Be Seen" while having fun at the world’s most enchanting theme park – Disney World. From 3,000 attendees, this one-day park event has evolved into a week long, citywide celebration offering non-stop activities including multiple theme park visits, cocktail soirees, concerts, cruises, and internationally renowned parties.
